Najib dares Kit Siang to pressure PM to reopen murder probes

October 10, 2018

Kit Siang, please call Najib’s bluff … give this klepto what he’s asking for … it appears he has finally lost it!

* Najib says yes to murder inquiries, high time ‘justice is served’
* ‘If Zahid found guilty, our deputy Mohamad Hassan will take over as acting President’: Only Lokman Adam & gang upset, others in UMNO already have ‘Plan B’ in mind

Former prime minister Najib Abdul Razak has challenged Iskandar Puteri MP Lim Kit Siang to urge the prime minister to reopen investigations on several high profile deaths.

He said this in response to Lim’s statement earlier today expressing surprise that Najib had agreed with him that high-profile murder cases of Altantuya Shaariibuu, Kevin Morais and Hussain Najadi should be reopened for special inquiries to be formed.

“I want to ask Kit Siang frankly: I know I have nothing to do with all these victims, so I agree with you that special investigations should be conducted.

“Do you still want special investigations to be opened as you have urged Pakatan Harapan two days ago? Would you persuade the prime minister to do this immediately?” he asked in Facebook post today.

Najib said Lim was wrong to claim that he is only interested in justice after falling out of power.

He added that Teoh Beng Hock’s death had been adjudicated in the High Court, Court of Appeal, and a Royal Commission of Inquiry.

Meanwhile, the Altantuya and Hussain cases had been in the High Court, Court of Appeal, and Federal Court for years.

As for the Morais case, seven people accused of the murder are on trial in the High Court since April last year.

“Who said it hasn’t been investigated? The problem with Kit Siang and Pakatan Harapan is that they would reject any investigation or court decision on grounds that the investigations and judgments under BN administration are unfair because they only want their slander against me to continue.

“Now, Kit Siang and Harapan no longer have excuses. All investigation papers and investigative agencies for all three murders and the courts are in the hands of the Pakatan Harapan government.

“There is no reason for them to take that step (to reopen investigations) without delay, and it should be done immediately as Kit Siang directed unless thay have plans to use these issues in the future to continue to slander me,” he said.
